11 days to final bow

I wrote a few drafts regarding the success and failure of American Psycho: The Musical, but wanted to address the eleven days to Christmas.

With new trailers, interviews and photos floating around the internet regarding Time of the Doctor, there is bittersweetness in the air.

We shall no longer see Matt pirouetting, twirling and gliding across our screens as the Doctor. We won't have the most optimistic and positive doctor to date in the reboot. The angst, merriment, innocence, fury, and wisdom performed so beautifully by one of the generation's most gifted actors. No one could have illustrated the ancient soul and childish wonder as well as him.

Our hero with two hearts that delighted us with physical humour, consoled us with a raspy voice and protected us with a screwdriver will fall.

No one in the fifty year span has generated this much interest in the show and encouraged fans to seek out the classics and modern doctors. No one has been so great with children and acted as an exceptional role model for future generations on and off screen.

Despite David and Tom's popularity, it is hard to deny the legacy Matt leaves behind in the Whoniverse. The global phenomena would not be possible without him.

I think his fans will also agree he redefined sexy. Some say his Doctor is the sexy geek, but I think we all know it goes beyond that. He seduced us with his awkwardness. Despite painting a picture of a thousand old alien, we still want to take him home to meet the parents and be the one to steal his hearts. Who does that? Honestly. You definately have game if you are an ancient awkward alien stealing women's hearts.

Although all the doctors convince us in their own way to run away with them, not all of them remind us what it's like to be a child again. With society's quest to find the fountain of youth, you could almost argue it is found when you join Eleven.

I'm going to stop rambling now anc let you share some of your goodbyes.
